Gloria Vanderbilt - American artist, actress, painter and fashion designer Gloria Vanderbilt was born in 1924 in New York. A very rich heiress, she studied acting and art, she gained fame as a painter.
From 1968, her drawings appeared on Hallmark Cards and Bloomcraft. Gloria Vanderbilt designed patterns on porcelain, dishes and fabrics. In the seventies, she focused her attention on fashion design. First, with Glentex, she introduced a collection of silk scarves by branding them with her name, then a collection of pants, blouses, shoes, leather assortment and perfumes. In the years 1982–2002, Gloria Vanderbilt perfumes were produced by L'Oreal.
