The Grès brand embodies elegance, femininity and timelessness. The famous fashion collections of this brand have become haute couture icons, and her creations were worn by stars such as Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo and Jacqueline Kennedy. Behind the creation of the brand is the fashion designer Germaine Émilie Krebs, known as Madame Grès, who began to create in the 1930s.
In 1942, Madame opened the Grès fashion house, whose name was an anagram of the name of her husband, Russian painter Serge Czerefkov. The first Grès perfumes came to light in 1958. It was a leather composition of Grès Cabochard, inspired by a trip to India, from which Madame Grès has just returned. This iconic fragrance is still available on the market and is still popular. Grès Madame Grès Eau de Parfum with fruity pineapple accords, sandalwood and patchouli notes, as well as the floral composition Grès Cabotine de Grès, hiding the aroma of tuberose, hyacinth and cloves, has a permanent place among the most-bought fragrances.
